Βλάσιος Τσιρογιάννης [Vlasios Tsirogiannis]Died: 5 November 1928 - Thessaloniki, Greece
Vlasios Tsirogiannis was a Greek Lieutenant General who served through every major conflict of his era, including the 1897 Greco-Turkish War, the Balkan Wars, World War I, and the Asia Minor Campaign. In 1904, he took on an undercover role in Ottoman controlled Macedonia as part of the Greek Macedonian Struggle, an armed effort to secure Greek influence in the region. He died while commanding the III Army Corps in Thessaloniki.
